"Pokemon Black and White move over 1 million units."

Nintendo reported earlier today that Pokemon Black and White has sold more than 1.08 million copies in the U.S. in just one day! according to internal company sales data.

This new game has shattered sales records of the previous Pokemon games Diamond and pearl's who's sales were 780,000 units back in 2007.

"These sales numbers illustrate the continued strength of the Nintendo DS family of systems," stated Charlie Scibetta, Corporate Communications Director at Nintendo of America.

"Already established as the nation's best-selling video game platform of all time, the installed base of more than 47 million makes it the ideal hand-held for developers to reach a huge gaming-focused target audience."
