London, England, March 15 2011: As part of the digital advertising campaign for Homefront, the upcoming first‐person shooter developed by Kaos Studios and published by THQ, VideoGamer.com is running the most ambitious integrated advertising campaign in the website’s history. The campaign has been orchestrated with media agency Five by Five.
With Homefront, VideoGamer.com brings the power and impact of a magazine front cover to the internet. Starting Monday 14 March and running through until Sunday 20, readers of the site will be presented with a full page splash, designed to give the appearance of a magazine cover that invites readers to click through to a bespoke coverage hub. Each day of the week a new piece of content is unlocked, and within each is a three digit code. By collecting all five strings of code readers are eligible to win a Parrot AR Drone, one of the unmanned gadgets used in the game, as provided by THQ.
